About The Position

This position is responsible for administration and management of center based services in either the REACH Crisis Therapeutic Home or Transitional Home. This is a Monday-Friday schedule plus on call. The REACH Program Supervisor will implement center-based services and other supports for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental illness or behavioral health needs. They will review staff service documentation for clinical appropriateness and accuracy, coordinate claims submittal and revenue collection, and perform retrospective service review to ensure services provided were in accordance with local, state and federal requirements. This role ensures Regional Center Based services maintain appropriate state DBHDS licensing approval and compliance with state and local Human Rights regulations, including appropriate reporting timelines. The supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision of DSPs and Nursing staff, coordinates with REACH Clinical Teams on admission into the homes, and plans and implements structured day programming for all participants. They will coordinate transition planning for individuals utilizing Center Based services, maintain contact with families and/or providers upon admission, and identify ongoing support and training/treatment needs in collaboration with REACH Clinical teams. The role also involves maintaining linkages and relationships with community partners, attending required meetings, identifying and monitoring necessary training for DSP staff, and ensuring the collection of required data and documentation on consumer access and utilization of Center Based services. The supervisor will work with the team to compose guest discharge summaries, facilitate on-site and video consultation with REACH Medical and Clinical Directors for guests in care, and share rotating responsibility for after hours and weekend on call support for DSP staff. Other duties as assigned/required.

Requirements

• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and/or Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP)
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field from an accredited college/university
• Minimum of one year relevant experience required.
• Registration with the Board of Counseling as a QMHP A and/or C required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities, including programming for individuals with significant behavioral needs.
• Two or more years’ supervisory experience in a mental health/developmental disabilities setting required.
• Knowledge of the MH and I/DD systems of care required; specific to Virginia preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to utilize computer word processing and data programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Web-based data entry, etc.
• Satisfactory background check/screening.
• Satisfactory Tuberculosis (TB) Screening

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited college/university with a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field preferred.
• Current, unrestricted Virginia license as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT or closely related preferred.
• Residential setting preferred.

Responsibilities
