About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. This role focuses on delivering direct patient care, specializing in periodontal services, and supporting the dental team to ensure a 5-star patient experience. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a positive work culture, maintaining high standards of patient care, and adhering to strict infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Possession of a High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Graduation from an accredited program with a Registered Dental Hygiene degree.
• Ability to administer local anesthetic.
• Active licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist within the state.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the delivery of direct patient care, specializing in all periodontal services within your licensed scope.
• Support the dentist during patient examinations, assisting chairside.
• Strive to deliver a 5-star patient experience, setting a high standard in patient care.
• Actively contribute to fostering a positive, engaging work culture.
• Prepare instruments and materials required for each patient's procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort in the dental chair, preparing them efficiently for treatments.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, emphasizing the importance of oral health.
• Skilled in capturing dental radiographs, intra-oral scans, and photographs.
• Maintain comprehensive treatment records, including charting of existing restorations, periodontal charting, and outlining planned treatments.
• Oversee and manage daily supply levels, ensuring timely restocking as needed.
• Provide detailed post-operative care instructions to patients, aiding in their recovery following periodontal and other dental treatments.
• Adhere strictly to infection control standards, including the sterilization of instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
