About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. This role focuses on providing direct patient care, specializing in periodontal services, and supporting the dental team to ensure a 5-star patient experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health education, meticulous in record-keeping, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of infection control.

Requirements

Possession of a High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
Graduation from an accredited program with a Registered Dental Hygiene degree.
Ability to administer local anesthetic.
Active licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist within the state.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Engage in the delivery of direct patient care, specializing in all periodontal services within your licensed scope.
Support the dentist during patient examinations, assisting chairside.
Strive to deliver a 5-star patient experience, setting a high standard in patient care.
Actively contribute to fostering a positive, engaging work culture.
Prepare instruments and materials required for each patient's procedures.
Ensure patient comfort in the dental chair, preparing them efficiently for treatments.
Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, emphasizing the importance of oral health.
Skilled in capturing dental radiographs, intra-oral scans, and photographs.
Maintain comprehensive treatment records, including charting of existing restorations, periodontal charting, and outlining planned treatments.
Oversee and manage daily supply levels, ensuring timely restocking as needed.
Provide detailed post-operative care instructions to patients, aiding in their recovery following periodontal and other dental treatments.
Adhere strictly to infection control standards, including the sterilization of instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
