The individual in this role provides clerical support to the Regional Distribution Center. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining logs, reports, audit processes, SOX controls and applicable metrics to avoid picking and shipping errors. It also coordinates and maintains safety training, documentation, communication and postings to ensure corporate and OSHA compliance. The role ensures and records the accurate arrival, duration and departure of inbound activity, notifies management of any imminent or potential detention charges and resolves issues or variations with the inbound documentation. Additionally, it provides timely customer service to all internal and external customers, initiates inbound vendor or in-transit freight claims and actions related to serial number deviations, and carries out supporting activities including determining the disposition of damaged product. The role also monitors non-conformance in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes, packaging, vendor cross-reference or UPC issues, and participates in other projects as assigned.
