About The Position

The Supervisor of Payment Compliance is a vital role within OMH Healthedge Holdings Inc, providing expertise and guidance in revenue cycle management and payor reimbursement. This position leads a team, offering support and direction to administrative and managerial staff across the organization. A key focus is on contract proposal analysis and payor projects, ensuring optimal reimbursement strategies. Additionally, the Supervisor oversees payment accuracy and resolution, working closely with payors to address any issues. This role is instrumental in maintaining strong payor relationships and ensuring the overall accuracy of claims processing, a critical aspect of the organization's financial health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management or a similar role.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of successful team development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, particularly related to revenue cycle.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in revenue cycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and expertise in revenue cycle management and payor reimbursement strategies.
  • Analyze contract proposals and collaborate on payor projects for optimal reimbursement.
  • Oversee the accuracy of payments received from all payors and resolve any payment issues.
  • Manage relationships with payors, ensuring a collaborative approach to claims processing accuracy.
  • Schedule and lead meetings with payors to discuss payment-related matters and track issues to resolution.
  • Escalate complex payment issues to Payor Innovations for further assistance and resolution.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations, ensuring compliance in revenue cycle management.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and expertise.
  • Collaborate with system services and affiliates to align on payment compliance and revenue cycle goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on payment compliance and revenue cycle performance.
