About The Position

The RCM Implementation Lead will oversee the revenue cycle management aspects of dental practice migrations to the company’s preferred Practice Management System (PMS). This role will work closely with the migration team to ensure a seamless transition of RCM data points, minimize disruptions, and train office teams on best practices for financial workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in dental revenue cycle management, particularly with Cloud 9 and Denticon, and a strong background in SOP development and training delivery. This role will require nationwide travel up to 65%.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in dental revenue cycle management
  • Ability to travel nationwide up to 50%
  • Proven ability to create and update SOPs and training materials
  • Experience delivering in-person and virtual training
  • Strong understanding of dental insurance billing, AR management, and financial workflows
  • Ability to travel frequently to offices as needed during migrations

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud 9 and Denticon preferred
  • Experience in multi-location dental practice management
  • Knowledge of practice transitions and data migration best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to fast-changing environments

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough RCM data assessments before migration to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues in data mapping, including patient balances, insurance claims, and contracts.
  • Work with the migration team to ensure all revenue cycle functions transition smoothly to the new PMS.
  • Serve as the primary RCM trainer for office teams post-migration, ensuring proficiency including but not limited to: Insurance eligibility verification, Contract creation and management, Collecting and applying co-payments, Submitting and tracking insurance claims, Best practices for patient and insurance accounts receivable (AR).
  • Provide hands-on training sessions, both in-person and virtual, tailored to the needs of each office.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs related to RCM workflows in the new PMS.
  • Update documentation based on system enhancements, compliance updates, and company policies.
  • Ensure office teams adhere to RCM best practices for optimal cash flow and compliance.
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, Operations, and the RCM department to address post-migration challenges.
  • Gather feedback from offices to improve training materials and system workflows.
  • Monitor RCM performance metrics post-conversion and provide recommendations for improvement.
