We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Authorization Team Lead at our Corporate office in West long Branch.

Requirements

High-school diploma or GED.
3 years’ experience in Revenue Cycle.
Proficiency with Microsoft office products including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

The Authorization Lead is responsible for assisting the Revenue Cycle Manager – Authorization on the day-to-day business operation of the Authorizations Department.
The Authorization Team Lead will assist in the manual prior authorization workflow and in the Athena Authorization Tracker which includes working the queue and coordinating with practices to efficiently process, monitor, and improve the prior authorization process.
The Authorizations Team Lead must have experience with medical billing and fluency with information on insurance medical policies.
Authorization Team Lead must be knowledgeable with prior authorization procedures for various insurance carriers including how to obtain them, the resources used in the process, and requirements across multiple insurance carriers.
