About The Position

This role operates administratively in a Residential Care Facility (RCF) Setting, which is a type of facility that provides services for people with mental illness and other disabilities. Rather than institutionalizing individuals who have these physical and mental health needs, the RCF settings provides these individuals with the opportunity to live and receive services in a way honoring to them and their abilities. RCF Supervisor/Med Managers provide leadership to a team who is laser-focused on providing the best care possible. Within the team, you’ll guide a team into fulfilling the mission of empowering people to reach individual achievement across the spectrum of life.   • Driver’s License
  • Reliable Transportation: You’ll need reliable transportation. You will also need to provide proof that your automobile insurance covers $100,000/$300,000/$50,000 liability coverage
  • Minimum Education Requirement of High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Iowa Medication Manager Certification, or ability to obtain.
  • Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, supervise, schedule, and develop Direct Support Professionals through coaching, training, team meetings, and active leadership while ensuring staffing meets the needs of individuals served and complies with DIA staffing ratio requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations by managing vehicle usage, individual financial processes in collaboration with the Representative Payee Team, medication check-ins, appointment coordination, and community partnership initiatives to support quality service delivery.
  • Safely administer medications, monitor and evaluate medication needs, complete required charting and assessments, manage weekly medication changes, and prepare appointment materials while ensuring compliance with medication administration standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies while ensuring accurate, timely documentation of incidents, investigations, medication records, and service delivery.
  • Foster an environment that promotes dignity, independence, and self-determination by advocating for individual choice, respecting each person's rights, and delivering compassionate, person-centered support.
