About The Position
Comforts of Home Senior Living is seeking an RCA/Medication Aide for its Baldwin location. Caregivers work as part of a team to provide exceptional care and service to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. The role supports residents in reaching and maintaining the highest possible level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities. No experience is necessary; paid training is provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- No experience necessary; paid training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities to support their performance and independence.
- Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed.
- Document services performed.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional condition.
- Assist with personal care, including hair shampooing, showering or bathing, incontinence management, transfers, and medication administration.
- Communicate and interact professionally, respectfully, and kindly.
- Communicate with and assist residents with dementia or related diagnoses.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
