About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals, also known as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavior Technicians (BTs), to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes. This role involves providing 1-on-1 support using play-based ABA therapy, designed by a licensed BCBA, to help children develop daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence. It's a hands-on, high-impact position where creativity and patience can make a significant difference. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by a BCBA supervisor.
- Track progress during each session using a data system on a phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
