About The Position

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT, you will provide 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy. This role involves working consistently with the same children in their natural environments, making a tangible difference in their lives. It's a hands-on, high-impact position that requires patience, energy, and creativity, with training and support provided to meet each child's unique needs.

Requirements

Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
Afternoon/evening availability.
Reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

ABA experience a plus.
Weekend availability a plus.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervisor (BCBA).
Track progress during each session using an easy data system on a phone or tablet.
Collaborate with BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
