About The Position

This role involves loading and unloading edible tankers, moving trucks, and ensuring egg standardization, silo management, routine equipment calibration, and documentation. The operator will also manage inventory of lab supplies and maintain a clean and organized workplace. Key responsibilities include controlling and monitoring pasteurization equipment for liquid egg processing, testing flow rates, manipulating valves for product transfer, and sampling/testing products for solids and pH. The operator will also ensure quality control compliance of finished product by operating blending equipment within regulatory guidelines, maintain sanitation and cleanliness, and manage documentation for food safety and product tracking. This role requires troubleshooting, proactive response to situations, and performing other related activities. The operator will also interact with USDA inspectors and follow all OSHA safety regulations and procedures. This position may require performing duties of an Assistant Process Operator, Breaker/Candler, and Floor Person when necessary. The operator must understand and interpret company, industry, state, and federal regulations and take appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the SQF system. They are responsible for reporting and taking action to prevent food safety and food quality problems and for following procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally during the course of the day.

Responsibilities

  • Egg Standardization
  • Load and unload edible tanker

  • CIP (Clean in Place) duties to include paperwork and documentation

  • Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits
