About The Position

The Raw Material Lead will oversee the material yard, managing and maintaining raw material locations and organization. This role is responsible for the raw material handler and scheduling the saw operator under production controls guidance. The Raw Material Lead will also be responsible for staging and sorting weld and fab shop material, and will kit jobs for production needs under the direction of the scheduler.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years’ related experience required.
• 2 years or more related ERP experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Works with PC to ensure scheduled workflow through saw is maintained.
• Trains and mentors saw operator.
• Oversees and schedules the daily workflow of the saw.
• Provides constructive and timely inventory evaluations.
• Maintain raw material yard organization.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Stages upcoming work for saw and weld/fab shop.
• Kit and stages material for production work orders.
