About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the inventory of raw materials and consumables, ensuring they are readily available for production needs. The position involves direct communication with material handlers and production teams, understanding material flow, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse. The individual will also be responsible for unloading materials, operating equipment, and managing waste disposal and recycling.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with material handler and production to understand needs and demand
• Understand the full function of the material handler to cover breaks and lunches
• Ensures that raw materials and consumables are staged and ready for production and material handler in appropriate areas.
• Unload other raw materials from trucks and move to storage space.
• Responsible for material delivery system
• Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of material warehouse using FIFO system
• Operates forklift and crane
• Bands empty bags, boxes, and move to appropriate areas for disposal or recycling.
• All other duties as assigned
