About The Position

Under the supervision of the Superintendent, this position supports the Yard & Delivery in all areas of driving and delivery to the designated manufacturing operation; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Three-years’ experience driving a truck with double trailers, both full and empty.
On-the-job training is required to perform essential duties.
Possession of a valid Idaho Class A driver’s license, with Double Endorsements, Tanker Endorsements and a good driving record.
Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

Drives trucks in a safe manner to specified locations to pick up aggregates and/or bulk powder materials and deliver them to the designated manufacturing operation.
Unloads aggregates and/or bulk powder materials at the manufacturing operation in area specified by plant superintendent or designated supervisor.
Uses company daily checklist.
Uses E-log on tablet and worksheets.
Checks vehicles for safety problems and ensures that fuel and oil levels are sufficient.
Maintains work area and equipment according to company specifications for cleanliness and safety.
Works with the Raw Material scheduler.
Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
