The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and be adept at handling customs and logistics.

Requirements

• Post secondary education preferred
• 2+ years of job-related experience required
• Experience with MS Office database, Excel and Word required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Familiar with Transportation documentation and manifesting requirements (all modes)
• Basic knowledge of customs clearance process (all modes)
• Knowledge of HS coding
• Accurate data entry skills with typing skills 60 w.p.m.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Candata is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Review invoices, manifests and other supporting documents for conformity to customs and corporate regulations
• Data Entry of commercial invoices into Customs Operating system
• Obtains customs paperwork by calling client when required
• Verifies documentation for rating compliance
• Prepares and submits release packages to Canada Border Services Agency
• Provides customer service as required
• Provides accurate information and assistance to customers requiring information
• Processes entries to meet Company and Canada Border Services Agency compliance standards
