About The Position

Pfizer's Rare Disease – Hemophilia Sales organization aims to improve the lives of individuals with hemophilia by connecting scientific innovation with healthcare providers and systems. This role involves compliantly promoting Pfizer Hemophilia therapies, educating customers on appropriate use, and reducing barriers to access and care coordination to ensure patients can initiate and maintain the correct therapy. The goal is to achieve better, more consistent patient outcomes and elevate the standard of care within the hemophilia community. This includes supporting diagnosis, referral to Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs), initiation, and persistence by engaging hematologists, HTC multidisciplinary teams, and allied care partners. The role also focuses on reinforcing evidence-based value narratives using approved materials for informed clinical decision-making and partnering across the matrix with HTCs, specialty pharmacies, payers, and ancillary sites to simplify treatment starts, reimbursement navigation, and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of work experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following: Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales; Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing; Aligned therapeutic specific healthcare provider experience.
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of specialty sales experience, preferably in Hemophilia.
  • Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement.
  • Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, data-driven decision making, and strategic thinking.
  • Strong digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom) and comfort in hybrid selling models.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer engagement and sales performance through effective in-person interactions across Hemophilia Treatment Centers, HCPs, multidisciplinary HTC care teams and Community Hospitals.
  • Build strong, compliant relationships with hematologists, HTCs and multidisciplinary care teams across assigned accounts.
  • Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate Hemophilia product use.
  • Leverage product, disease, and market knowledge to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and support appropriate treatment options.
  • Support patient access by providing information on prior authorization requirements, reimbursement support, hubs, and co-pay resources as applicable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs, remove access barriers, and advance Hemophilia business objectives.
  • Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, and optimize Hemophilia territory activities.
