About The Position

The Raptor Technician is a critical role that bridges the body shop and powder coating departments to ensure the precise application of Raptor Liner. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes on vehicle components.

Requirements

General automotive knowledge and familiarity with vehicle components.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Competence in using air hoses, power tools, and related equipment.
Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines.
Dependability and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to work overtime evenings and weekends as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Previous liner spray or paint and body experience preferred

Responsibilities

Tape off painted areas of vehicles to protect them during the Raptor Liner application process.
Sand vehicle tubs to prepare surfaces for coating.
Thoroughly clean surfaces using wax and grease remover to ensure proper adhesion.
Apply seam sealer to any necessary seams.
Mix and spray Raptor Liner with precision and accuracy.
Proactively seek additional tasks to stay productive when assigned work is completed.
Arrive on time with a professional appearance, ready to work at start of shift.
Adhere to the company dress code and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Complete daily SOS/sign off sheet.
