About The Position
Join the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus as a full-time, night-shift ER and ICU Rapid Response Registered Nurse in Topeka, Kansas. The role serves as a clinical expert supporting patient care and staff development. The nurse provides clinical response for time-sensitive patient care, proactively augments care for patients at risk of deterioration, mentors clinical staff, and monitors quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Current Kansas RN License.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Advanced clinical skills, such as critical care or emergency care.
- ACLS certification.
- Stroke certification.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
