About The Position

The Rapid Responder Driver is a vital part of Healing Transitions' Post Overdose Response Team. This role focuses on implementing overdose prevention strategies by ensuring clients have consistent access to medication at Morse Clinic of North Raleigh.

Requirements

• Active in Recovery.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of Wake County’s System of Care: Understanding of the community resources and treatment options available for individuals with substance use disorders.
• Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively and participate in weekly supervision sessions.
• Strong Skills: Engagement and communication, Documentation and organizational skills, Customer service and time management.
• Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and data management software.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documents.

Responsibilities

• Drive clients from various locations in Raleigh and surrounding areas to the Morse Clinic for their daily medication-assisted treatment appointments and return them to their residences on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
• Create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment while transporting clients.
• Accurately document each transport.
• Ensure the safety of clients during transportation, exercising caution while driving.
