About The Position
Ranch hands are responsible for tending livestock and providing care of the animals and facilities at Notch Peak Cattle Company. This role involves assisting with calving, feeding, and doctoring cattle, as well as riding, moving, and sorting cattle. Fencing responsibilities and taking direction from the ranch manager are also key aspects of the job. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Cattle experience
- Solid horse-riding experience
- Experience operating machinery including backhoes, tractors, etc.
- Mechanical skills and knowledge of how to service ranch and farm equipment, etc
- 4 years of recent experience
- Experience driving trucks/trailers
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
