Ranch and Recreation Land Real Estate Agent
About The Position
An established real estate brokerage operating across Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota and Colorado is seeking an experienced Farm, Ranch and Recreational Land Sales Agent. The brokerage specializes in agricultural, investment, and recreational land sales and is backed by a parent company that ranks in the top 500 of roughly 89,000 independent brokerages nationwide, producing close to a billion dollars in annual transaction volume. This is an opportunity for a self motivated, agriculture or recreational minded agent to build a substantial book of business with full marketing and administrative support behind them.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of licensed real estate experience
- agricultural land experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of real estate contracts and transaction processes
- Established relationships and credibility within a farm or ranch community
- Working knowledge of agriculture, land or livestock operations
- Self motivated and comfortable operating with minimal day to day supervision
- Based in or willing to relocate to one of the target markets across Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota or Colorado
Responsibilities
- Generate and manage listings for farm, ranch, hunting and recreational land properties
- Represent buyers and sellers through the full transaction cycle, from initial contact through closing
- Build and maintain a personal client base while participating in company provided leads
- Attend biweekly team meetings and periodic in person company events
- Maintain accurate contact records for company marketing distribution
- Stay current on land values, water rights, commodity markets and other factors affecting agricultural property
