About The Position

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a RAN Wireless SME to lead technical solutioning, product requirements, and performance analysis across next-generation 4G/5G wireless networks. This role serves as a critical bridge between engineering, product, and customer team-driving innovation, resolving complex technical challenges, and enabling successful deployment of advanced RAN technologies including virtualized and cloud-native networks. TeleWorld Solutions are the strategic backbone for the world's most ambitious wireless networks, acting as engineers, designers, and problem-solvers for operators, OEMs, and tower giants. They navigate the entire lifecycle of networks, from design to optimization, focusing on macro networks, DAS, Small Cells, and Wi-Fi. The role involves mastering complex data like CDRs, network KPIs, and customer signals, directly influencing the next generation of networks through deep engineering excellence.

Requirements

12+ years of wireless telecommunications experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Deep expertise in: 4G LTE & 5G NR air interface and call processing
Deep expertise in: RAN architecture and network design
Strong understanding of: LTE-NR interworking & coexistence
Strong understanding of: Massive MIMO, Beamforming, 5G numerologies
Protocol expertise: PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC layers
Tools: XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, Channel Emulator
Experience with: System engineering & feature development
Experience with: Performance optimization & troubleshooting
Experience with: Lab and field testing environments
Knowledge of: Core & RAN network interactions
Knowledge of: Software and hardware architecture
Strong stakeholder management and executive-level influence
Ability to negotiate and align technical decisions in complex environments
Exceptional organization and ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences
Ability to travel as needed for customer engagements, lab testing, and field validation
Willingness to support time-sensitive projects and critical deadlines
Recognized SME capable of solving complex technical challenges across RAN architecture and performance domains

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Strong understanding of 3GPP standards (Rel-15/16 preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead development of product and feature requirements, system design, and performance analysis for 4G/5G RAN solutions
Translate customer requirements into detailed system specifications and engineering design documentation
Drive new technology introduction, including virtualized and cloud-based RAN architectures
Conduct deep-dive technical sessions with customers to define requirements and solution strategies
Perform advanced analysis of 4G/5G wireless call protocols (PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC)
Troubleshoot complex issues identified during: Chipset IODT testing (lab & field)
Troubleshoot complex issues identified during: Network performance validation and optimization
Evaluate new product releases and software updates for performance and stability
Develop test strategies, parameter optimization plans, and root cause analysis
Act as a technical advisor in pre-sales engagements, delivering compelling solutions aligned with customer needs
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business and network value propositions
Present and educate customers on new products, services, and network capabilities
Ensure delivery of customer commitments and technical milestones
Partner with Sales, Engineering, Logistics, and HQ teams to drive successful product rollouts
Support and lead lab and field trials, including validation of deployed solutions
Align internal and external stakeholders to achieve project and contractual objectives
