About The Position

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a RAN Test Engineer III to join their team. This role is part of a cutting-edge wireless engineering team focused on the future of connectivity. The RAN Test Engineer III will be crucial in validating next-generation LTE and 5G NR Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies. The position involves product validation, performance engineering, and customer engagement to ensure seamless interoperability and top-tier network performance. The role requires hands-on work in lab and customer environments, with collaboration across global teams to develop innovative wireless solutions. TeleWorld Solutions positions itself as the strategic backbone for ambitious wireless networks, acting as engineers, designers, and problem-solvers for operators, OEMs, and tower companies.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of 4G LTE & 5G NR technologies, including: DL/UL scheduling, Power control, Beamforming, MIMO, EN-DC.
Deep understanding of RAN architecture & air interface technologies.
Deep understanding of Protocol stack: PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP.
Experience with 3GPP standards and release cycles.
Experience with System testing: validation, test planning, parameter tuning.
Experience with Lab and IOT testing environments.
Experience with EMS systems and network element management.
Experience with Software upgrades, MOP validation.
Familiarity with NB-IoT, eMTC.
Familiarity with S1 / X2 interfaces.
Familiarity with Core + RAN integration.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to software development or automation scripting.
Experience working in multi-vendor environments (Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, etc.).
Veteran or veteran spouse with expertise in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

Development of product validation, feature validation, systems and performance analysis, customer review sessions for LTE & 5G RAN products focusing on Air interface, E2E performance, and Call Processing.
Test execution in customer lab, Report creation and customer presentation.
Analyzing the product and feature requirements, converting them into system test cases and execution to ensure product meets customer spec.
Aid in product & feature performance analysis, evaluation of new product & SW releases.
Perform detailed analysis of 4G& 5G Wireless Protocols.
Analyzing and troubleshooting the issues.
Educate customers on Samsung’s new products and services both individually and in a team environment.
Ensures that customer commitments are achieved according to plan.
Works closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross-functional teams from SEA and Samsung HQ to achieve successful new product roll-outs and developments.
