RAMS Engineer
About The Position
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a RAMS Engineer to join their Rail, Transit Systems & Telecom team in Montreal. This role involves implementing Safety & System Assurance programs for large public transport and rail projects like ALTO and TramCité. The RAMS Engineer will be responsible for defining and proposing methods, analyses, and reports for reliability, maintainability, and safety, including developing plans and conducting analyses. The position offers high-quality consultancy services in RAMS engineering and safety assurance, supporting rail businesses, governments, and organizations, and contributing to the growth of the Safety & Systems Assurance team.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of RAMS, Safety Assurance, System Assurance
- Demonstrable leadership experience of managing projects.
- Proven ability to help identify and capitalize on business development opportunities, including the provision of fee estimates and developing technical/quality submissions as part of a tender process.
- Good team worker and trustworthy.
- Good inter-personal skills and an assured communicator.
- Resourceful and able to deal with ambiguity where necessary.
- Able to communicate in French and English, both orally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks related to the implementation of Safety & System Assurance program on large-scale projects in the public transport and rail sectors.
- Define and propose the methods, analyses, and reports required for the successful execution of mandates within their field of expertise.
- Develop plans as well as reliability, maintainability, and safety analyses.
- Provide high quality consultancy services to the rail industry in the fields of RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) engineering and safety assurance.
- Deliver assurance, certification and safety activities, supporting rail businesses, governments and organizations.
- Contribute to developing strategies to grow the Safety & Systems Assurance team.
