About The Position

This role coordinates all station ground operations relating to the operational interface between aircraft loading/unloading activities. The position is FAA covered and safety sensitive, subject to regulatory alcohol and drug testing. The individual must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. This role is critical for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, upholding FAA, AOD, and CSM requirements, ensuring TSA compliance, and providing expected customer service levels.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Ability to complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing.
Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
Ability to operate GSE.
Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems.
Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Drives vehicles not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
