About The Position

Quantem Aviation Services is a premier aircraft handling provider offering cargo warehousing, mail handling, ramp handling, terminal services, and GSE fuel supply and maintenance services. As a Ramp Agent, you will work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services while providing the highest level of customer service, keeping passengers and aircraft moving safely and on time. This is a part-time position with an early morning shift: Tuesday - Friday from 04:15 am to 07:15 am and Saturday from 05:00 am to 08:00 am. Successful completion of the SIDA airport badging or background check process is required for this location. A pre-employment drug screen that includes THC is mandatory.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Maintain and treat all information as confidential.
Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English.
Must be able to verbally direct in English.
A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to speak and hear efficiently.
Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds at times.
Ability to climb ladders of up to 15 feet in height.
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

Properly and safely loads and unloads freight, including build-up and break-down of cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines.
Operates equipment safely, holding necessary equipment certifications.
Obtains proper security documents for all shipments.
Verifies shipment pieces, weight, dimensions, and airworthiness upon receipt from the customer.
Verifies shipment pieces and airway bill numbers upon delivery to the customer.
