Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working on an asphalt paving crew
- Proven experience as a raker man
- Strong ability to work within a team environment and assist other crew members as needed
- Knowledge of asphalt placement, finishing, and job site safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced paving environment
- Availability for night work as required
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- Highway or municipal paving experience
- Experience working around live traffic
Responsibilities
- Rake asphalt to proper grade and finish
- Assist paving operations as required
- Work closely with paver, roller operators, and foreman
- Maintain clean edges, joints, and transitions
- Support other crew members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
- Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements
