About The Position

This position operates a Rake Machine, using a manual joystick-like controller to rake product off trailers and move it to a belt. When there are no trucks to service, the operator will assist in other departments as a floater. The role requires the ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals, communicate orally, perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with two-digit numbers, tens, and hundreds, and apply common sense understanding to follow instructions.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate with others orally.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement and volume.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
