About The Position

Ready to suit up as a Railway Station Security Guard. What matters most in a role like this is your ability to build meaningful connections with Client by providing excellent customer service and ensuring safety of workers and passengers. As a Railway Station Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a Rail environment.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid Manitoba security license
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be available to Mandatory trainings

Nice To Haves

First aid certification an asset
Previous experience in the Security industry is an asset

Responsibilities

Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide Passengers
Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Patrol the site and Reporting with G-Track device.
Check all doors and ensure they are closed and not jimmied anyway to allow for entrance
Conduct regular exterior and interior patrol with G-Track to deter potential threats and ensure the security of the area
Respond to emergencies
Monitor CCTV/alarms
Visible deterrent to any vagrancy, vandalism, and/or loitering. Must be vigilant in patrolling those areas and be visible walking around.
