Fluor is seeking candidates for opportunities within our Program Delivery Support (PDS) team, working alongside the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services for one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S. The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley. The Railroad Safety and Roadway Worker Protection (RWP) Manager works under the direction of the Deputy Program Safety and Security Director and is responsible for enforcing compliance with regulatory and contract requirements while directly observing, monitoring, and inspecting railroad construction related activities. Additionally, the Railroad Safety and RWP Manager is responsible for developing, delivering, and managing all components of the federally mandated RWP training program for California High Speed Rail (HSR). This position will supervise other employees and support the Authority’s Chief of Safety and Security. The Railroad Safety and RWP Manager is responsible for assisting in construction safety and security and oversight activities related to the program. This position has the responsibility and accountability to develop, make recommendations, and implement continuous improvement for safety and security activities related to the program.
