Autoport Limited is seeking individuals for full-time employment in Flint, Michigan. This is an entry-level position, but there is ample opportunity for growth, with tenured employees of 20+ years. The Prep team, which this role is part of, has one of the most physically demanding jobs within the facility, as they are the first to prepare each railcar for the loading and unloading of vehicles. This diverse team works together to productively meet deadlines and solve problems, while adhering to workplace guidelines and safety protocol. The role requires climbing up and down railcar ladders, opening and closing railcar doors, placing and removing chocks that secure vehicles for shipment, and the ability to lift up to 70 lb. bridge plates repeatedly throughout the shift. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive off the high of a 'good day's work' and are comfortable performing physical labor year-round in an outdoor work environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Willing to complete a criminal background check
• Punctual and reliable
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Prepare each railcar for the loading and unloading of vehicles
