Requirements
- Proficiency with electronic communication (e-mail, text) and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Basic oral and written communication skills.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.

Responsibilities
- Assist in Design Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of rail infrastructure projects by working closely with the rail design team.
- Collaborate with rail Structural engineers to create detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications.
- CAD Modeling and Drafting: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (Microstation) to produce accurate and detailed models and drawings.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects to support design and development activities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers.
- Communicate ideas, progress, and challenges clearly and effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure designs meet client standards and are error-free.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
