Ingredient Receiver Rail Operator FM02 - 1st shift - Aurora Feed Mill
About The Position
This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner as well as running the computer to route ingredients while maintaining a safe a work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role requires the ability to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment. The operator may lift in excess of 80 lbs., operate heavy equipment, and climb stairs routinely. Responsibilities include filing alphabetically and numerically, operating live haul scales and keeping the scale area clean, communicating professionally both orally and in writing, maintaining a clean work and break area, and computing grower weights and head counts. The position also requires the ability to train and operate a Rail Mover Operator.
Requirements
- Must be able to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment
- May lift in excess of 80 lbs.
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment
- Must be able to climb stairs on a routine basis
- Must be able to file both alphabetically and numerically
- Must be able to operate the live haul scales
- Must be able to keep feed cleaned up from on and around the scale area
- Must be able to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing
- Must maintain a clean work area and break area
- Must be able to compute grower weights and head count
- Must be able and willing to train and operate a Rail Mover Operator
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire
- 180 days (6 months) waiting period
