About The Position

The Rail Loadout Operator is responsible for loading all trucks scheduled and maintaining quality, housekeeping, and safety in the truck load out area. Enviva is a fast-growing, purpose-driven, global energy company specializing in delivering sustainable wood bioenergy solutions. We are the world’s largest producer of sustainable wood pellets, which provide a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels.

Requirements

• Ability to work multiple shift schedules to support 24x7 operations
• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions
• Proficient in mathematics and measurement
• Team player demonstrated with past work experience or activities

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Operate truck load out equipment including HMI touchscreen and adjust according to product output
• Follow all workplace and job safety procedures.
• Confirm all reporting and inventory accurately completed as required.
• Communicate operational information and Escalate issues promptly for proper resolution.
• Enter maintenance work requests as applicable.
• Perform/coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions.
• Perform/coordinate housekeeping to maintain to required standard.
• Perform other duties as required and serve as a back-up resource as needed
