(Vehicle) Rail Loader
About The Position
Auto Warehousing (AWC) has been a family-owned and operated company for over 50 years, leading North America in finished vehicle logistics. Their mission is to service customer vehicles safely, efficiently, with quality and pride, recognizing that their Associates are key to their success. The company is looking for Full-Time Rail Loaders at their Tacoma, WA location. This position operates Monday-Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with opportunities for daily and weekend overtime. The role offers competitive pay at $24.45 per hour with contractual increases. The Rail Loader is responsible for loading and unloading new vehicles onto railcars in compliance with company quality standards. No prior experience is required as step-by-step training will be provided.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Able to stand, walk, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a physical and background check
- Able to work at a height approximately 15 feet above the ground
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds overhead
- Good visual ability
- Good sense of balance
