About The Position

CHI St. Alexius is seeking locum Interventional Radiology (IR) coverage. The client requires IR generalists with preferred stroke capabilities. The role involves 8-hour workdays, typically between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., with evening call from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m., and 24-hour call on weekends. Increased rates may be considered for specific dates.

Requirements

• Locum Interventional Radiology coverage
• IR generalist skills
• Stroke capabilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular interventions, including angiography (venous and arterial).
• Perform therapeutic vascular interventions, including angioplasty (venous and arterial), stenting (venous and arterial), thrombolytic therapy, and embolization therapy.
• Perform interventional procedures (body, non-neuro), including vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, port a cath insertions, IVC filters, and TIPS.
