Part-Time Radiology Technologist (Weekend Days) - Northwest Healthcare (Outpatient & ED - Adults & Pedi's)
About The Position
BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Part-Time General Radiologist Technologist (Imaging) for Northwest Healthcare (Florissant, MO). This role involves performing general imaging radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The position is located in an Outpatient & ED setting and does not involve call or surgery. A constant state of alertness and safe practice is crucial, especially when serving a busy Emergency Department. Experience working closely with CT is helpful. The role offers growth opportunities, including cross-training, and is benefits-eligible.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R), MR
- Associate or Trade School Equivalent
- No Experience
- No Experience (Supervisor Experience)
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- Radiology Technologist - Reg

Responsibilities
- Performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
