About The Position

Responsible for performing a variety of duties related to imaging patients and ensuring the smooth operation of the Diagnostic Imaging department while providing appropriate levels of patient care and customer service. This is a PRN hospital position.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Radiology or completion of a Certificate Program.
• ARRT certification.
• IEMA certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams.
• Use PACS and EMR systems.
• Maintain appropriate IV and contrast competency.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for proper patient positioning, exposure control, and radiation protection.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with everyone involved in the patient care process.
• Clean and inspect departmental equipment.
• Clean and stock imaging rooms.
