About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford is seeking a Part-Time Radiology Technologist with a Weekend Option to join their Imaging | Radiology department in Murfreesboro, TN. In this role, you will execute high-quality radiologic exams by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical factors to provide physicians with the clear images needed for accurate diagnosis. You will also protect patient well-being by strictly following radiation safety guidelines and monitoring for any physical changes during procedures, ensuring a safe and secure imaging experience. Additionally, you will advocate for diagnostic excellence by validating all image data and patient history within the PACS system, ensuring the medical team has immediate access to reliable clinical information. Finally, you will maintain a high-standard clinical environment by proactively monitoring equipment performance and ensuring all procedure areas are sterile, organized, and ready for care.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
