About The Position

Holdenville General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and professional Radiology Technologist to provide weekend coverage. The role provides diagnostic imaging services to inpatient and outpatient patients and supports the hospital’s mission to deliver exceptional care to the community. The technologist performs imaging procedures, maintains patient safety and confidentiality, operates and maintains equipment, documents and transmits images for radiologist interpretation, and collaborates with healthcare staff. Participation in an on-call rotation may be needed to support 24/7 radiology services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification (R) required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in a small-hospital environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other applicable studies, according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately document and transmit images to the radiologist for interpretation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed to support 24/7 radiology services.
