About The Position
As a Radiology Technician, you will work with patient information, infection control, monitor and maintain equipment, and supplies and instruments. This position will also assist in the role of Radiation Safety Officer. The Radiology Techs will often assist the Medical Assistants with some tasks such as rooming patients and drawing up injections - this is only in smaller, low volume locations and any training required is provided.
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Work with patient information
- Maintain infection control
- Monitor and maintain equipment, and supplies and instruments
- Assist in the role of Radiation Safety Officer
- Assist Medical Assistants with tasks such as rooming patients and drawing up injections (in smaller, low volume locations)
