About The Position

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of imaging techniques, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist! We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist with prior radiology experience to join our team at the North Temple Clinic. This opportunity is open to both experienced technologists and motivated new graduates or cross‑training candidates (limited or full Rad Techs). The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high‑quality patient care and working collaboratively in a clinical setting.

Requirements

  • Diagnostic X-ray imaging and anatomy knowledge
  • Image evaluation and quality assurance
  • Radiation safety and emergency response
  • Equipment and electronic imaging systems operation
  • Clear verbal communication and teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment
  • Strong patient care and customer service skills
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
  • Radiologic technologist license in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting.
  • Licensure as a Practical Radiologic Technologist/Limited Scope Operator in state of practice or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Board Registry Eligible per state requirements.
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Competency in at least one of the following areas: Chest, Extremities, Spine, Skull, Podiatry, Bone Densitometry (DEXA).

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years radiology experience
  • IV Certification
  • One year of experience in an ambulatory outpatient clinic environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with departmental protocols
  • Verify patient identification and orders; prepare and position patients appropriately
  • Ensure image quality, accuracy, and adherence to radiation safety standards
  • Provide patient education, comfort, and support throughout exams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow coding, charging, and consent procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment and information systems safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and clinic staff to support efficient patient flow
  • Support quality control processes and report equipment issues as needed
