About The Position

Corewell Health is offering up to $5,000 as a sign on bonus for this opportunity. Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961 and became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care. Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Radiology Technologist performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. The role involves applying principles of radiation protection and complying with regulations, assuming responsibility for the designated area, and providing clinical instruction as appropriate. The technologist is expected to follow Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • Training gained at student level.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (required within 180 Days).
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (required Upon Hire).
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association (required Upon Hire) Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross (required Upon Hire).
