Requirements

  • Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
  • Licensed with IEMA (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
  • American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) completed within 2 weeks of hire
  • ARRT (R) registry eligible (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
  • Must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
  • High School Diploma/ GED (for Limited License Rad Tech)
  • 1 year healthcare experience (for Limited License Rad Tech)
  • Limited scope testing certification provided by ARRT (for Limited License Rad Tech)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent
  • Previous experience with an electronic health record
  • Previous experience with phlebotomy (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
  • Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of Epic
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
  • Knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion, good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude
  • Current certification as a radiology technician with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
  • Completion of limited scope test provided by ARRT (for Limited License Rad Tech)
