Requirements
- Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
- Licensed with IEMA (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
- American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) completed within 2 weeks of hire
- ARRT (R) registry eligible (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
- Must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
- High School Diploma/ GED (for Limited License Rad Tech)
- 1 year healthcare experience (for Limited License Rad Tech)
- Limited scope testing certification provided by ARRT (for Limited License Rad Tech)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent
- Previous experience with an electronic health record
- Previous experience with phlebotomy (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
- Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of Epic
- Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
- Knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion, good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude
- Current certification as a radiology technician with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (for Fully Licensed Rad Tech)
- Completion of limited scope test provided by ARRT (for Limited License Rad Tech)
