Radiology Technologist/X Ray Tech
About The Position
HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is a 467-bed hospital that is fully accredited and leverages the latest technologies and treatment protocols to meet healthcare needs. It is designated as a Level II Trauma Center by the Florida Department of Health and certified as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center by the Joint Commission. The hospital's Comprehensive Community Cancer Program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, and it is an American College of Radiology accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform a variety of imaging procedures, be responsible for patient safety protocols, and function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)- REQUIRED
- High School Graduate / GED
- Passed the state boards
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures
- Be responsible for patient safety protocols
- Function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs
