About The Position

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital, a full-service hospital and verified Level III Trauma Center, is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. The technologist will be responsible for applying radiation protection principles, complying with regulations, and providing the best possible images for interpretation. This role also involves assuming responsibility for a designated area and providing clinical instruction as appropriate, all while adhering to the Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level.
• ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration within 180 days of hire.
• ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (R) registration upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology under supervision.
• Demonstrates good clinical skills to provide the best possible images for interpretation.
• Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations.
• Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate.
