About The Position
The Radiology Technologist supports department coverage by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols. This is a PRN position requiring participation in an on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role is in a small department offering the opportunity to work independently.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program OR Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Must be eligible for ARRT certification
Nice To Haves
- CT certification and/or experience
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols
- Ensure quality imaging and patient safety
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams
- Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
- Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS
- Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided
- Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care
- Maintain competency through continuing education
- Support department workflow and coverage needs
- Provide patient-centered care in a team environment
