Radiology Technologist - PRN
About The Position
Shriners Children’s is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to join their team in Spokane. This role performs diagnostic imaging procedures for pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality radiographs and compliance with radiation safety protocols. The technologist provides compassionate care to patients and families, collaborates with radiologists and healthcare providers, and may assist with quality control, education, and daily operations oversight. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree, Radiologic Technology or Radiologic Science (must be from accredited (JCERT) Radiologic Technology Program)
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including portable C-arm, Tomography, and DXA scans
- Ensure diagnostic image quality, accurate positioning, and appropriate use of radiation protection measures
- Assist with patient preparation, including communication of procedures in an age-appropriate manner
- Collaborate with Physicians and Radiologists to review images and clarifying imaging orders
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety and maintenance guidelines
- Document procedures and patient data accurately in EMR and PACS systems
