About The Position
This is a full-time, direct-hire position for a Radiology Technologist in Geneva, NY, located in the scenic Finger Lakes Region. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging studies with accuracy, care, and compassion for patients of all ages. Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or AAS in Radiologic Technology.
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license (required).
- ARRT certification (required).
- Completion of a recognized 24-month Radiology program (new grads welcome).
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging studies with accuracy, care, and compassion for patients of all ages.
- Operate radiographic, portable imaging, and related equipment with precision.
- Produce high-quality images, ensuring accurate positioning and adherence to procedure guidelines.
- Apply proper radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and yourself.
- Utilize RIS, CR, and PACS systems for data entry, image review, and troubleshooting.
- Administer contrast media safely, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain infection control standards according to Universal Precautions.
- Demonstrate flexibility in taking emergency call rotations for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
